Professor of Sociology of Cultural and Communicative Processes at the University Roma 3, where he also helds courses on “Analysis of the Language of Advertising.” He also teaches “Structure of Communication” at the Pontifical University of the Sacred Heart in Rome. Member of the Board of Governors of the European Institute for the Media, Duesseldorf; member of the board of directors of the Vatican Television Center and the ISIMM – Institute for Study of Innovation: Media, Economics, Society, Institutions, in Rome. He cooperates in the “Cultural Project” of the CEI – Conference of Catholic Bishops. Since the’70s, he has produced important scientific works for the introduction and spread in Italy of the ideas of Marshall McLuhan.
