Ordinario di Sociologia dei Processi culturali e comunicativi presso la Università degli Studi Roma 3, dove tiene corsi anche in tema di “Analisi del linguaggio pubblicitario”. Insegna anche “Struttura della Comunicazione” alla Pontificia Università del Sacro Cuore di Roma. È membro del Board of Governors dell’European Institute for the Media, di Duesseldorf, membro del C.d.A.. del Centro Televisivo Vaticano e dell’ ISIMM – Istituto di Studio dell’Innovazione: Media Economia, Società, Istituzioni, di Roma. Collabora al “Progetto culturale” della CEI – Conferenza Episcopale Italiana. Fin dagli anni ’70, ha elaborato importanti lavori scientifici per la introduzione e la diffusione in Italia del pensiero di Marshal McLuhan.

Professor of Sociology of Cultural and Communicative Processes at the University Roma III, where he also helds courses on “Analysis of the Language of Advertising.” He also teaches “Structure of Communication” at the Pontifical University of the Sacred Heart in Rome. Member of the Board of Governors of the European Institute for the Media, Duesseldorf; member of the board of directors of the Vatican Television Center and the ISIMM – Institute for Study of Innovation: Media, Economics, Society, Institutions, in Rome. He cooperates in the “Cultural Project” of the CEI – Conference of Catholic Bishops. Since the’70s, he has produced important scientific works for the introduction and spread in Italy of the ideas of Marshall McLuhan.
