Presentation of the results of the Italy Report 2022

On Thursday 26 May, at 11.00 am, the presentation of the Italy Report 2022 will take place at the Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale in Rome.
The Report, now in its 34th edition, has over time become an appreciated point of reference for scholars, institutions, the information system and international observers. By methodological choice, the Report is built each year around six dichotomies, illustrated through as many essays accompanied by sixty phenomenological factsheets. Thus, through a dual and opposing reading of reality, themes that the Institute considers representative, though not exhaustive, of current political, economic and social events in our country are addressed.
The thematic dichotomies identified for the Italy 2022 Report are:
Conservation/Innovation – Presence/Absence – Backwardness/Modernity
Ordinary/Extraordinary – Currency/Currencies – Universe/Metaverse
The Report is completed by sample surveys which, in this year’s edition, have probed some of the themes traditionally observed by Eurispes: trust in institutions; presidentialism; international conflicts and the energy crisis; the financial condition of families and consumption; the judiciary; new technologies; opinion on ethical issues; the attitude towards pets and numerous other topical issues.
