UN Agreement for the Future: a meeting on people, communities, territories
On Tuesday 22 October 2024 at 11 a.m. the Connect Italia conference entitled ‘UN Pact for the Future: People, Communities, Territories in an Interconnected World‘ will be held. The meeting will take place in Rome, at Palazzo Achille Grandi.
As indicated in the title, the event will focus on the road mapped out by the UN in the Pact for the Future. Marco Ricceri, Secretary General of Eurispes, will be among the speakers at the event, together with Ambassador Riccardo Sessa, President of the SIOI – Italian Society for International Organisation, and Cecilia Cellai, Head of Sustainable Development, ESF Regions Technical Structure.
They will discuss global social inequalities, geopolitics and international tensions, peoples and territories. The conference is organised by Connect Italia, an association that aims to contribute to strengthening a culture of dialogue, interdependence and harmony in respect of diversity, also through the connection between people and territories, in the conviction that everyone can make their own contribution to building a fairer and more inclusive world.
Marina Migliorato, Vice-President of Connect Italia, will introduce the meeting. The meeting will be moderated by journalist Giuseppe Davicino, while the conclusions will be entrusted to Gianni Bottalico, President of Connect-Italia.
