The President of Eurispes, Prof. Gian Maria Fara, at the conference on ‘Declining Birth Rates and Youth Distress. Reflections, Challenges and Proposals for Building the Future’ organised by the I Sud del Mondo Association

President of Eurispes, Prof. Gian Maria Fara, will speak on Monday 21 September at the conference “Denatalità e disagio giovanile. Riflessioni, sfide e proposte per costruire il futuro” (‘Declining Birth Rates and Youth Distress. Reflections, Challenges and Proposals for Building the Future’), to be held in the Sala Mediterraneo at the Hotel Addaura in Palermo.

The initiative, promoted by the I Sud del Mondo Association, will bring together institutions, the academic world and civil society for a discussion on the challenges linked to the demographic winter and the distress affecting the younger generations. During the day, the book “Transage” by Hon. Saverio Romano, President of the Bicameral Committee for Simplification, will also be presented.

President Fara’s address is scheduled to take place during the round table of the morning session, which will also be attended by, among others, the Director General of Svimez, Luca Bianchi, the Rector of the University of Palermo, Massimo Midiri, and the economist Pietro Busetta.

The conference will be broadcast live on the YouTube channel of the Associazione I Sud del Mondo.
