Survey on EAW measures and extradition, the Deputy Director of Eurispes presents the results

On Wednesday 27 January, from 2.30 p.m. to 6.00 p.m., the second meeting will be held to present the results of the statistical survey carried out by the Osservatorio Europa of the Camera Penale di Bologna “Franco Bricola”, Fondazione Forense Bolognese and Eurispes on the jurisprudence of the Court of Appeal of Bologna (years 2006-2019) concerning the European Arrest Warrant (EAW) and extradition. The online meeting is sponsored by the Union of Italian Criminal Chambers. The conference opens with greetings from Lawyer Italia Elisabetta d’Errico, President of the Council of the Bar Association of Bologna, Lawyer Paola Rubini, member of the Council of the Union of Italian Criminal Chambers, Lawyer Roberto d’Errico, President of the Criminal Chamber of Bologna “Franco Bricola”. The results of the statistical survey will be presented by Raffaella Saso, Deputy Director of Eurispes and Donatella Ianelli, Head of the Europe Observatory of the Bologna Criminal Chamber.

The results will be discussed: Lawyer Federico Cappelletti, Head of the UCPI Europe Observatory; Prof. Michele Caianiello, Professor of Criminal Procedure Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Bologna; Prof. Annalisa Mangiaracina, Associate Professor of Criminal Procedure Law at the University of Palermo; Mrs Lucia Russo, Deputy Prosecutor at the Public Prosecutor’s Office – Court of Bologna, Coordinator for international relations; Mr Filippo Spiezia, Vice President of Eurojust and Italian member of Eurojust.
