NexTown, a talk on digital transformation and the renaissance of territories
On Tuesday 17 September 2024, from 4.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m., a meeting entitled “NexTown: digital transformation for the rebirth of territories” will be held in Rome at the Europa Experience centre “David Sassoli” in Piazza Venezia. The Geosmart Campus talk was created in collaboration with Rome Future Week and Scai Communication,Ampioraggio Foundation and Geoknowledge Foundation.
Eurispes will participate with a talk by Prof. Avv. Aldo Berlinguer, President of the Observatory on Insularity and Inland Areas of Eurispes.
The territories, with their specificities, services and production systems, will be the starting point for a debate on how the digital transformation taking place in our country can intervene and help the development and rebirth of places while respecting the environment and sustainability. Italian cities and villages have a growing need for new skills and innovations to put into practice models of territorial analysis and management that are now made possible thanks to the available technologies. Places understood as unique productive, social, and territorial realities will therefore be at the centre of innovative ideas and projects, proposals and ideas from the speakers, in order to realise a profound reflection on the ‘Smart Society‘ model that we are pursuing through investments and projects in digital.
