Forced labour, the Legality and Security Observatory of the Municipality of Aprilia: a meeting with Marco Omizzolo, Eurispes researcher
On Wednesday 23 June, at 6 p.m., at the Parco Europa (via Francia), the Legality and Security Observatory of the Municipality of Aprilia organised a public meeting with Marco Omizzolo, sociologist and Eurispes researcher. The themes of ‘caporalato’ (forced labour) and the exploitation of foreign workers in the countryside of the Pontine area were at the core of the meeting. This is the first of a series of events that the Observatory intends to propose to the city and that aim to involve and raise awareness among citizens. The Mayor of Aprilia, Antonio Terra, will be also attending the event.
