Eurispes at the 21st international conference on regional labour markets promoted by the ENRLMM Network, whose Scientific Committee it chairs
On 17-18 September 2026, in Bilbao (Spain), the European Network on Regional Labour Market Monitoring (ENRLMM) is organizing its annual meeting, featuring exchanges of experience and in-depth discussions on the theme: “Monitoring changes in occupations and job-related skills: systemic and qualitative approaches in regional and local labour market observatories”. The meeting will be hosted by the University of the Basque Country. The aim is to offer participants an important opportunity for open dialogue to identify the most effective and valid solutions in the face of the profound transformations currently underway.
The event will bring together representatives from international organizations (OECD, ILO), the European Union (European Commission – DG Employment, EESC, ELA, ETF, Eurofound), regional labour authorities, as well as academics, experts, representatives of Public Employment Services (PES), trade unions (ETUC-EPSU), and civil society organizations.
The ENRLMM Network – operational since 2006 and coordinated by the German institute IWAK at Goethe University Frankfurt – comprises around 400 collaborating members from European and non-EU countries. Network members include academics, experts, and representatives of regional labour departments and agencies, Public Employment Services (PES), and labour market observatories. Its main activities consist of exchanging knowledge and experience on regional labour market dynamics, carried out through the annual conference, thematic seminars, periodic publications, and review meetings with European, national, and regional authorities.
Eurispes holds the Presidency of the Network’s Scientific Committee.
