“Connections”. Benedetta Cosmi, coordinator of Eurispes’ Laboratory on Human Capital, speaker at the meeting

On Saturday October 28, from 4 p.m., at the Tavolara Pavilion in Sassari, the first event of the initiative entitled “Connessioni” (Connections) will be held, organised by La Nuova Sardegna under the patronage of the Fondazione di Sardegna and with the media partner SardiniaPost.

A series of five meetings to address the island’s challenges on topics such as human capital, infrastructure and transport, research and innovation, energy, and tourism in order to come up with ideas, think about opportunities and Sardinia’s cultural identity and connections with the rest of the world, in order to plan a better future. The central themes of the afternoon debate will be human capital and competences.

The meeting will be opened by the institutional greetings of the Mayor of Sassari, Gian Vittorio Campus, the President of Confindustria Sardegna, Maurizio De Pascale, the President of the Fondazione di Sardegna, Giacomo Spissu, and the President and CEO of SAE S.p.A, Alberto Leonardis. Several dialogue sessions on the topics addressed will follow.

Among others, Benedetta Cosmi, Coordinator of Eurispes’ Laboratory on Human Capital, Giovanna Melandri, President of the Human Foundation, Charlie Boyle, CEO & Managing Director Costumer Service Excellence Ireland, Gianni Bocchieri, Coordinator PNRR State-Regions Nucleus, Department for Regional Affairs and Autonomies of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, will participate.

A performance by famous saxophonist Gavino Murgia will conclude the event.
