Two meetings on the fight against caporalato in Italy

On Tuesday, 27 February 2024, from 9.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m., at the ANCI Conference Hall in Rome (Via dei Prefetti, 46) the meeting “Health and work, fundamental rights and socio-labour inclusion” will be held. Among the speakers will be Marco Omizzolo, Eurispes researcher, who will take part in the round table on “Right to work and the fight against ‘caporalato’. Omizzolo will also take part in the presentation of the book “Sfruttamento e caporalato in Italia. Il ruolo degli Enti locali nella prevenzione e nel contrasto” that will be held on Friday 1 March 2024 in Cerignola (Palazzo Fornari – Sala Conferenz e). Participants include the Mayor of Cerignola, Francesco Bonito, and the Chief Prosecutor of the Republic of Foggia, Ludovico Vaccaro (here is the programme).
