Mafias and the pandemic are the theme of a three-day conference, starting on May 25, organised by the Pontificia Academia Mariana Internationalis (https://www.pami.info/dipartimento) Department of Analysis, Study and Monitoring of Criminal and Mafia Phenomena. The meetings will be attended by scholars, magistrates and representatives of the forces of law and order involved in the fight against organised crime.
The opening greetings will be given by the President of the Pontifical Marian Academy Internationalis, Stefano Cecchin, and the Attorney General of the Military Supreme Court, Maurizio Block.
The session on May 26, starting at 10.00 a.m., will include a speech by the President of Eurispes, Gian Maria Fara. Stefano Cuzzilla, President of Fedemanager, Francesco Giannella, Deputy Public Prosecutor of Bari, and historian Isaia Sales will also participate. Fabio Iadeluca, Pontifical Academic, will moderate the meeting. On opening day, at 10.45 a.m., Gen. S.A. Pasquale Preziosa, President of the Permanent Observatory on Security of Eurispes, former Chief of Staff of the Italian Air Force, will also speak.
