Sustainable cities: Eurispes presents the Report “Crime: between reality and perception” at the international conference promoted by the AVSI Foundation
On Friday June 16, the AVSI Foundation (https://www.avsi.org) is organising a webinar on “Sustainable Cities: People’s New Needs and the Social Impact on the City”. The meeting, which is part of the work of the Regional Annual Meeting Latin America to be held in São Paulo from 13 to 16 of June, will present the results of the Report “Crime: between reality and perception” carried out within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2021 between the Central Directorate of Criminal Police and Eurispes. The aim was to investigate citizens’ perceptions of security and at the same time observe the trend in crime over the past three years thanks to the elaborations carried out by the Criminal Analysis Service.
The survey and methodology will be presented, as a case study that can also be replicated in the Latin American context, for the Criminal Analysis Service, Central Directorate of Criminal Police – Ministry of the Interior by Carabinieri Colonel Bruno Dominici and Tiziana Montefusco, State Police Executive, and by lawyer Angelo Caliendo, of the Eurispes Board.
