Presentation of the Erasmus+ project “Ruralthon” . Eurispes partner of the initiative
On Saturday 20 July at 10.00 a.m. at the Circolo della Stampa in Avellino, a press conference will be held to present the Erasmus+ project “Ruraltron”, organised by the association Give Back – Giovani Aree Interne and co-financed by the European Union.
Eurispes is a partner in the initiative with its Observatory on insularity and inland areas.
The project aims to develop a full awareness of the economic potential linked to the heritage of rural areas, on the part of citizens, public administrations, third sector organisations, entrepreneurs and all stakeholders.
The core activity of the project is a Hackathon addressed to 50 girls and boys from all over Italy, who, after participating in workshops and laboratories aimed at getting to know the different aspects related to rural heritage, will confront each other in a dynamic and creative way in order to develop their own entrepreneurial idea for the development of the territory with the support of experts.
The initiative will take place in the municipality of Bagnoli Irpino (AV) and the village of Villaggio Laceno, from 27 July to 2 August.
