Agriculture of the future: drones enter the field
Today, December 14, 2021, from 16.00 to 18.00, the webinar “Innovation, research & development, security in support of agriculture and forestry” will take place. The central theme of the debate will be the use of drones in the agricultural and forestry sector, as an innovative strength both for monitoring environmental and cultivation systems and for managing resources and production. These technologies allow for site-specific, sustainable and optimised management of processes by intervening in product traceability, the distribution of agro-pharmaceuticals and the direct and indirect performance of operations, with benefits in terms of food safety, operators, reduction of production costs and environmental impact. Angelo Caliendo, lawyer and member of the Board of Directors, will participate as a representative of the Eurispes Institute. The webinar promoted by CREA (Council for Agricultural Research and Analysis of Agricultural Economics) takes place as part of the dissemination activities of the project AGRIDIGIT (https://www.progettoagridigit.it) sub-projects Forestry and AgroFiliere “Integrated digital technologies for the sustainable enhancement of production and food processing” funded by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, can be followed online on the platform Teams (for info).
