The Eurispes Institute is active in South America, especially in Argentina and Chile.
In Argentina, in 2002, an agreement was signed with INCAP – Instituto Nacional de Capacitacion de Dirigentes Politicos y Sociales, of the Ministry of the Interior of the Argentinean Government, which carries out an intensive training and refresher programme for managers of the public administration throughout Argentina. In 2009, Eurispes Argentina was established in Buenos Aires to intensify the promotion of study and research activities. Further agreements were signed in 2011 and 2012 with specialised institutes and provincial authorities to promote initiatives in the field of urban mobility and rail transport, and with the FUNDABAIRES foundation in environmental analysis activities.
In Chile, an agreement was signed in 2012 with the City of Valparaiso, whose historical centre has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which involves study, analysis and assistance initiatives on issues relating to sustainable urban development and urban mobility problems.
