During the years he taught at “Sapienza” University in Rome, Salerno, Teramo, “Scuola Ufficiali Carabinieri” in Rome, LUISS and LUMSA in Rome. President of IPSEMA (Social Institute for the maritime department) from 1999 to 2004. Lay Member of the Pontifical Council for Social Communication from 1990 to 2011. Member of the Scientific Council of the European Institute for the Science Academy of Russia and also of the Italia-USA Foundation. Vice President of Coldiretti’s Observatory on crime in Agriculture and the Food system.
