Survey on the condition of children and adolescents in Italy (2011)
The National Survey on the Condition of Childhood and Adolescence, carried out by Eurispes and Telefono Azzurro, reached its twelfth edition in 2011. The research provides a snapshot of the attitudes, ideas and behaviour of children and adolescents. Moreover, it identifies the changes that have taken place over the last year and grasping the most recent trends affecting young Italians. To provide the most comprehensive picture of the condition of the youngest, the survey also interviewed their parents for the first time this year.
The survey focused on family, media and new technologies, free time, school, at-risk behaviour, bullying and cyberbullying.
The survey, which was carried out thanks to the contribution of schools throughout the Country, , also included children’s parents, in addition to a sample of 12-18 year olds, so the results make it possible to compare the views of adolescents and their families.
