Survey on alcoholism in Italy. Three research paths (2018)

There were 435,000 deaths in ten years due to alcohol-related diseases, accidents, homicides and suicides. Alcohol is a psychotropic substance that kills more people in terms of addiction than smoking, synthetic drugs and cocaine.

These are some of the data emerging from an articulated and complex research report: ‘Survey on alcoholism in Italy. Three research paths (2018)’. The most important research ever carried out on the phenomenon of alcoholism in Italy, created in the framework of the activities of the Eurispes/Enpam permanent Observatory on “Health, Welfare and Legality”. The survey involved young students, adolescents, citizens and doctors.
