Public gaming and addictions in Piedmont (2019)

Videolottery and news slots cut by 80%, 2 billion fewer euros played, 5,200 jobs lost and 220 million less in the State coffers. This is the estimate of the effects of the contraction of the public gaming offer in Piedmont – generated by the application of the regional law 9/2016 – processed by the Observatory Games, legality and pathologies of Eurispes in the study “Public gaming and addictions in Piedmont”. A compression that unavoidably leads to a growth of illegality.
