Eurispes: one Italian in three would go and live abroad 2006
According to an analysis carried out by Eurispes, using data from the Ministry of the Interior, in 2005, there were almost 4 million Italians living abroad: 1,944,526 families, most of whom had moved their residence to other European countries (1,058,998 families). Eurispes wanted to analyse the emigration phenomenon by surveying the propensity of Italians to move abroad, which seems to be relevant especially for young people driven by motivations related to employment.
