The Security Observatory
The Eurispes has set up a Permanent Observatory on Security and has entrusted its presidency to General S.A. Pasquale Preziosa, former Chief of Staff of the Italian Air Force and professor of the Geopolitics of Security.
The Observatory has a Scientific Committee comprised of representatives from various police forces, armed forces, foreign ministries, and universities. Together with high Magistrates who have always been committed to fighting crime, top figures and experts from critical infrastructures, and national Bodies firmly committed to security themes. The Observatory’s mission is to monitor the various phenomena affecting security issues, which are increasingly attracting the attention of public opinion, the media, and the political-institutional system, while also employing new predictive and interpretative models of analysis.
The topics to be developed have been agreed upon with the National Anti-Mafia and Counter-Terrorism Directorate, with whom the Eurispes has signed a collaboration agreement.
