The Infrastructure, Transport and Logistics Observatory
The Eurispes has set up a permanent Observatory on Infrastructure, Transport and Logistics.
In such a significant economic moment, Eurispes believes it can contribute to the necessary recovery of investments in large infrastructures and develop a new competitiveness of the Italian port systems by employing its strategic planning expertise. Moreover, the Italian port systems must compete with the
significant interventions of the Brics countries already planned for the next decades.
Besides, the Eurispes has created a permanent Laboratory specialized in analysing strategies for the coordination of BRIC countries, with particular reference to investment projects in the major corridors.
Therefore, the Observatory mission will be to involve – the leading experts and scholars of the prominent Italian and international institutes and universities – in the analysis of future challenges, with particular reference to the Mediterranean area.
The Observatory is chaired by Luca Danese, Councillor of the Institute and former Member of Parliament and Undersecretary for Transport and Navigation.
