Today, Friday December 1st, 2023, from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., in Palermo, at the Department of Political Sciences and International Relations Aula Magna “Paolo Borsellino” (Via Maqueda, 324), the meeting entitled “Island(s) – The constitutional principle of insularity one year after its entry into force” promoted by the University of Palermo will take place. The meeting will be opened by Prof. Massimo Midiri, Rector of the University of Palermo, Prof. Costantino Visconti, Director of the Department of Political Science and International Relations – Dems-Unipa and Prof. Antonello Miranda, Director of the Centre for Advanced Studies Unipa Relations.
Prof. Maria Immordino, Director of the magazine “Nuove Autonomie” – Univ. LUMSA, will be chairing the meeting. Speeches will be given by: Prof. Aldo Berlinguer, UniCagliari – President of the Observatory on Insularity of Eurispes, Hon. Tommaso Calderone, President of the bicameral Commission for the contrast to the disadvantages deriving from insularity, Lawyer Marco Di Giugno, Head of the Legal Analysis and Litigation Directorate Enac, Prof. Giovanni Ruggieri, Seas-Unipa, Otie.
Prof. Gaetano Armao, Dems-Unipa – Rector’s delegate for insularity, will conclude the proceedings.
